When I first came to Henry County over 10 years ago I instantly fell in love. The communities, the scenery, the businesses, the agriculture, the tourism and the beautiful back roads make Henry County unique. Henry County is centrally located between Lexington and Louisville and easily accessible from I-71 and 64. Henry County has a number of great businesses throughout the different communities. The county seat, New Castle, is the home of our beautiful historic courthouse. The county has two wonderful school systems, Eminence Independent Schools (K-12) and Henry County Public Schools. Both are great, innovative school systems that offer a multitude of options for college and career readiness, and individual attention not found in many larger systems. The back roads of Henry County are so beautiful, to just drive around the area is worth the time to see what this unique county has to offer. There are so many wonderful things Henry County has to offer including a more laid back, calm lifestyle, unique tourism including Smith Berry Winery, The Kentucky Renaissance Fair, Lake Jericho, the beautiful Henry County Golf course, numerous antique shops & small flea markets, Amish markets, dining and more. We are definitely worth the trip to visit or to relocate!
Henry County Chamber of Commerce's mission is to promote pride and progress in Henry County through the cooperation and dedication of the citizens, businesses, and industries of the entire county.
