From the Henry County Clerk's Office:

The State is mailing every registered voter a post card notifying the voter how to request an absentee ballot through an On Line State portal. This is a combined effort from both Republicans, Democrats & KY State Board of Elections.

You may also call the COUNTY CLERKS OFFICE at 845-5705 to request a ballot.

IN Person Absentee Voting will start On June 1st—June 22nd, in the Office of the Henry County Clerk, at 27 South Property Rd., New Castle.
You must have an appointment to enter the office to vote in person, Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:15pm.

The Co. Clerks Office will start making these appointments on Tuesday May 26th.

We are also working on a system to offer curb side voting. That way IF the Voter would like to bring their Absentee Ballot back to the office PRIOR to June 23rd, they may stay in the car and a deputy clerk will come out to get it.

The Primary Election to be held on Tuesday June 23rd from 6am-6pm, will be held at the Henry County Fairgrounds in the 4H Building. We are only allowed to have ONE Voting Location for All Voters on June 23rd! No matter your HC address, you will be voting at the Fairgrounds! Only 5 Voters will be allowed in the building at a time. We have to follow State recommended guidelines. The state is highly recommending Absentee Voting. Due to the county only being allowed only ONE location for the actual election date, there would be less of a crowd if voters would elect to vote earlier than 6/23.

For any questions or concerns about the election, contact the Henry County Clerk’s Office directly at 502-845-5705.
